Heat your frying pan with oil over medium high heat. Drop in your lean ground turkey. Cook the turkey thoroughly or until it’s not pink. It'll take about 7-10 minutes.
Add the onions and garlic and saute until fragrant. Next, sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chile powder, and 2 hot sauce packets or your favorite hot sauce. Now, continue to cook and simmer everything for about 5 minutes. Turn your stove off and set the turkey mixture aside.
To save time, butter up all of the flour tortillas. In a flat pan fry each of the flour tortillas sides for about 2 minutes or until you see some golden spots. Continue with the other flour tortillas. Set aside for a minute.
Lay your first flour tortilla in the pan with the heat off. Add 2 slices of cheese. Now add the turkey mixture all over. Add 2 more slices of cheese. Then add the second layer of tortilla and add 2 slices (or more). Skip adding the turkey mixture on this layer cause we want the middle cheesy, right? Now, add a layer of tortilla and add 2 slices of cheese and the rest of the turkey mixture, top off with 2 more slices of cheese. Top with the last tortilla. Turn the heat on and and melt everything together. I covered the cheesy quesadillas with another pan to melt the cheeses.
Top off another slice of cheese and sprinkled dried parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve Immediately!
