TWO INGREDIENTS BAKED CHICKEN OVERVIEW

two ingredients baked chicken quick and easy chicken dinner

Feeling a little tired to make dinner for your Tootz and Mini Tootz? This baked chicken recipe can help you solve your problems.  If you have any frozen chicken legs laying around in the freezer, defrost them in your fridge before you go to sleep and bake them the next day.  The easiest part is that you dont have to marinate.

I used to feel the same way cause I would sit in traffic for atleast 2 hours from work to home.  Of course, that was when I was living in the city of Los Angeles.  You’re already tired by the time you get home. Sometimes, you just want to grab fast food on your way home. My momsy did the same when I was young and I did the same for my son.

THE BAKED CHICKEN BREAKDOWN

  • Your Favorite Sauce
  • Chicken Legs (or Breasts)

HOW TO BAKE THESE CHICKEN LEGS

You’ll need a baking sheet with a rack lined with parchment paper or foil just so it can catch the drippings. I highly recommend using the rack so that the chicken legs can fully cook well.  You won’t have to necessarily flip them over as oppose to having the chicken legs laying on the baking sheet, all oily and then having to drain the fat and juices out.

Lay your sexy chicken legs on the rack and grab your brush. Make sure you leave enough room for the chicken legs and do not over crowd them so they can bake easily.  With your brush, glaze your favorite sauce (I used Honey Mustard with this recipe) all over those sexy chicken legs! Baked them for 30 minutes at 400F, then flip the legs over, glaze the sauce again. This time, increase the heat at 425F and bake for another 20 minutes.

To make the chicken skin crispier, broil on top rack for 3-5 mins or until desired crispness.

DANG J, THAT’S EASY!  I told you Tootz, I got you!

WHAT TO PAIR THESE BAKED CHICKENS WITH

wtwo ingredients baked chicken quick and easy chicken dinner

Baked chicken usually pairs well with some sort of potatoes.  I think you’ll like my smashed tater tots if you have little Mini Tootz (Kids) around cause they’ll get their veggies in. If you’re not feeling the mashed potatoes, then cut some potatoes into wedges and make my red potatoes wedges.  Or you can just cut them into cubes and roast them.  Either way, you can easily do this while your baking your two ingreadients baked chicken.

Skip the potato ideas and add my teriyaki green beans. They’re sweet and delicious!

If you’re super hungry, then just grub straight from the baking rack.  I know some of you feel me on that!

I suggest to always check on them after 20 minutes. Oven times always varies with any baking. Hope this helps 🙂
